    Sunday!

It was nice to spend time with those members of the 'No Wives Club', who were currently in Spain, last night.  Truthfully, I don't get out an awful lot these days, as finances remain extremely tight.  It is important to spend quality time with other people, especially during challenging days, so yesterday I relented and had a wonderful evening, at The Pub in Masa Square!
I just wanted to say a few words about friendships.

When living abroad, in a community such as the one I live in, it is important to forge new friendships. With out 'The No Wives Club' and other friends I have had the pleasure of meeting, life here would have been more difficult than it is already.

When Darrell left, it was more important than ever to bond with others, akin to family. I have rarely met such a great, generous bunch of characters in my lifetime; hold on to the precious times spent together!

    Feel good, kinda day!

    Saturday

Housework done, I took a wonder to the shops.  As a rule, I can't stand walking, but my feel good day was just getting better.  The one thing I have learned, living in Gran Alacant, is that the sun is a great healer and it has done wonders for me, since I moved here.

It was early in the morning, well relatively, so Unide wasn't busy.  The baguettes were fresh out of the oven and there was an 'Hola,' from everyone grabbing some last minute shopping , on a sunny Saturday.

13€ down, I took a leisurely stroll back home, avoiding the killerpillars that are out on the rampage at the moment. I almost, had a skip in my step!

I've just finished cooking dinner, with what I had left in the fridge, Moroccan Tagine with orange, saltanas and carrot. It actually tasted quite nice, not what I would have usually cooked, but then, these are not normal times.

I'm still cooking in bulk, so had another four portions for the freezer; the Spanish way!

This evening, I have got to do a palmistry report for someone. I haven't done that in a while, so I have a whole cabinet full of books for reference.

Palmistry is still a passion of mine, even though I don't get as much time as I would like to practice it.  I have been studying it for about forteen years and enjoy it as much today as I did back then. A report can take a while to do, depending on how comprehensive you want it!

Today, was one of those 'feel good days', the one's that make you feel happy to be alive. I was up bright and early this morning, doing an a tonne of washing, mainly stuff Jamie had left behind, that needs to be bagged up and sent on. When you have weather this good you really have to make the most of it.  I even cleaned the windows at the front of the house.  Not even a toke on a cigarette!

Once home, I decided to 'chop my mop'. I can't actually afford to go to the hairdresser and the moment, but am well able to cut my own hair, I like to think so anyway.

Cutting ones hair, always makes one feel better about oneself.  I think it actually knocks years off me too; or is it that the editing suite on my laptop, whatever the reason, I was still feeling on top of the world.  In truth I haven't felt this way in a while.  It has been a difficult few months. With so much trouble and strife in the past, today was a real moving on day. Time to clear out the trash and look forward to a much better future.

Precious and Lily are already up on the bed, keeping warm, where I shall be shortly.  The warmest place in these houses is the bed!

Click on the photograph above, and join the 'Campaign against OXFAM bullies!'  Those responsible for a catalogue of abuses, against staff and vulnerable volunteers, are still in post, being protected by a management team, that can not deal with , some of the most disgraceful acts I have ever witnessed.

Do not hesitate to contact me, if you have any questions or need advice on any problem you may be experiencing at present.  Oxfam needs to own up to what they have done, to me, many of my colleagues and the cover, staff have played a large part in; denial is not an acceptable get out clause!

The group aims to fight for Oxfam employees, past and present, who have been the subject of abuse and bullying, at the hands of those, working for this large international charity, who seek to cause harm to others.

After years of abuse, I had to leave my birth country, to restart my life. Many others are still suffering from a campaign of hate. This is your chance to speak up against an organisation who continues to allow these people, to practice terrible injustices against employees and volunteers alike!

    Ex CEO of Oxfam

Had my first email back today, in my campaign against bullying. Dame Barbara Stcocking has replied, but sadly can't do anthing to help. She hasn't worked at Oxfam for four years now; her reply wasn't unexpected.  The point of all this lobbying is to give a voice to those who have suffered at the hands of Oxfam.  That fact that Dame Barbara knows what is going on now, is a step in the right direction.

I have sent over fifty emails today.  I am determined to finally hold Oxfam accountable for their actions.  I am well able and strong enough, along with ex colleagues, to bring these terrible people and their injustices to book.

Dame Barbara Stocking was a fantastic CEO, who I had the pleasure of meeting diring a conference in Manchester.  She was extremely motivational and a role model for all those who attended the National Shops Conference.  Her views on bullying are well known, having experienced it, during her time working for the NHS.

It is important to get this anti bullying message across to everyone, who may understand just what is happening.  The fact she read the email is enough for me to judge it as a success.  One down, forty nine to go!
