    Charity Commission

Here is a copy of an email I received today, from The Charity Commission.  It is interesting, that they have contacted Oxfam, with regard to their appalling safeguarding policy, or rather lack of policy. As yet, as per usual, I have heard nothing from the charity, so it is time to ramp up the pressure.  I have been given the name of a journalist, who is interested in my story; someone I had overlooked in the past!
Click on the picture above to take you to 'The Charity Commission', if you have a similar complaint about a charity.  As they have stipulated, they can not deal with matters of employment.  Bullying is endemic within Oxfam and takes place at all levels within the organisation.  If you are an Oxfam employee, volunteer or otherwise, contact them with your complaint.  Don't let the bullies win!
If you would like to join my group 'Campaign against OXFAM bullies!', click on the above banner, to take you to the relevant page.  You can of course contact me through this blog, via facebook or email me at lukemartin.jones@gmail.com , I will try and do my best to help you.

Thanks once again for all your support!

    One Year!

    Another milestone

I have reached a few milestones whilst living in Spain; personal achievements, goals and dreams come true!  Today was another milestone passed.  It has been one year since I moved to Spain. I never thought I would last a week, let alone twelve months.

Presently, life is still extremely hard; Spain is an unforgiving place and takes no prisoners.  I have no idea what the next year will bring; whether or not I will even still be in Gran Alacant, but I am at least doing my very best to survive, testing times!

Today passed rather quietly; coffee at Zest this morning, a shopping trip to Lidl and a cup of tea and some Tarot back at my house with Katie.  A pleasant morning, in an otherwise harsh World!

Currently I am feeling a little directionless, unsure when Darrell is returning; all dependent on circumstances. Like many people, in Spain, at this time of year, one muddles through.  This country is a difficult place to navigate; there are many more challenges to come, until I, at least, feel happy and content enough, to call this place home!

Despite the downside of life, living here, at the moment, I am very happy to be  in Gran Alacant.  Unless you understand and know this country, you will never comprehend, just how it ticks.  I am beginning to realise, after a year; the ticking clock needs a service, taken apart and put back together again.  Spain being Spain, it is very unlikely to happen!  The good does outweigh the bad, but one must always consider, how long to wind up a broken clock!

    One year down!
