Chatter - Catalonia!

This article on Catalonia for the Gran Alacant Advertiser, was written a few weeks before this fast moving situation escalated. Spain has now formally taken control of the Catalan region and charges of rebellion, sedition and misuse of public funds are being brought against deposed leader Carles Puigdemont. Currently Mr Puigdemont is in Brussels, in his words 'seeking safety,' from prosecution; stating his intention to return home immediately if a fair judicial process were guaranteed in Spain.
