A Tea Towel Is For Life!

I've just been sorting out the washing this morning and came across this beautiful piece of linen; the first tea towel myself and Darrell bought when we got together twenty two years ago. Call me sentimental, but I don't part with things lightly. Of all the stuff I sold or gave to charity, before I left the UK, I decided to keep this old thing and rightly so. It also has other meaning; we used to use it, wet, to cool down Lily and Precious, during the hot summer months in Britain and Spain, as well as cleaning Lily's face and eyes, as she got older and was unable to do it herself! So there you have it, a tea towel is most certainly for life, not just for Christmas, especially when it holds so many memories!
