Had another great walk home from work this afternoon. My journey home, in the UK, was nothing like this. Today is very hot. I have gotten used to the heat, and absolutely adore it now.
I am lucky to be away from The UK. Often, when walking, I have time to think, about the circumstances that brought me here and it does make me realise, just how close to total collapse I became.
Rebuilding lives, after such distressing and harmful times, obviously has its challenges, but time to think, rationalise what happened and come to terms with the pain, is gradually helping me accept, just what others did to me.
Time is indeed a great healer!
Who wouldn't love to have this walk to work every day. It's times like this, that make you feel good to be alive!
Gran Alacant has allowed me to grow as a person, recovering from an agonising and harrowing last year in The UK. The fact that I have been so positive and forward thinking, is in part, at least, down to where we live.
I still have to put up with abuse from those responsible for our position, but expressing my feelings in words and passing on the evidence to those who can challenge these people, is all I can do. I'm not hiding, I am finally living!
