Things That Annoy Me About Spain - Electrical Sockets!

A constant source of annoyance is the lack of plug points in Spanish homes. The ones there are only single sockets and I have Spanish and English extension leads everywhere. Of course most of my electrical appliances are English, which makes the problem worse. The amount of electricity going into each home, also varies, depending on the size of the dwelling; turning on a kettle, will sometimes trip out the whole house. When one factors in the high cost of this basic utility, it is certainly top of my list, of things I hate about Spain!
