Roast!

It's been all go at Casa Gay .Caprice today, on this wet and positively windy, English type Spanish day. A day like today, demands appropriate food.  It felt more like Autumn, so I thought I'd cook a roast, before Jamie went to work!  It was a Mother and Daughter day, Jamie even helped.  

I sent him to the shop to grab some gravy granuels, and he came back with powder.  Now I haven't used gravy powder, since the 1980s, when I used to cook with my Mother.  I remembered, just how awkward it was to make the damn stuff, so made him do some of the hard work. Actually I did it myself in the end, to be honest, sometimes, it`s just easier that way!

Not a Sunday standard roast lunch today, just a quickie.  It seemed to go down alright mind you. The cats had their share of the chicken and being the perfect housewife and Mother, I even boiled the bones for chicken stock.
