Gran Vista - 21 April 16

I went to get my SIP Card on Thursday.  Elle, from work came with me,  She can speak fluent Spanish.  Now I have a contract, I am entitled to free health care and Social Security.  It can be quite a long winded process here to be honest, getting anything finalised.  You have to have photocopies of your NIE Number, your entry  on the Padron, Social Security Number and your contract.  Then and only then, you can get your SIP card.

We spent about two hours at the Doctors Surgery, waiting for the card, then took Elle for lunch at Barloko, as a thank you to her, for all her help.  Without someone who can speak Spanish, It can be difficult getting things done.

Alicante - 22 April 2016

On Friday, we went for a day out in Alicante.  Jason and I had a day off together, which is rare, so we took the opportunity to pop out.  The weather was a bit cloudy to be honest.  We managed to have a wonder round the streets for a while and have a few drinks at SOHO Mar, where we always go, when we are in The City.  It is nice to get out of GA once in a while!

Outdoor Gym

Outdoor gym, in the park in Alicante on the way home. This would be a great thing to have in Britain.  It would encourage fitness and good health!  This is something we desperately need to promote in  The UK!

We popped back to see Natalee, after Brothers, so I could give my hair a wash and had a couple of pints.  Darrell and Jamie were completely smashed to be honest, so we went for an Indian afterwards.

I had to drive Darrell and Jamie back home afterwards.  I hadn't driven since the 1990's, but didn't do too badly.

Peace and Love always!
On Friday evening we all went down to Carabassi, to have something to eat and a few drinks.  Natalee Michelle was working at The Cork and Bottle, so we had a few bevvies in there, before going on to Brothers for more drinks!

Had great conversation, as usual with Cindy and Josh. Fin, their daughter decided to dye mine and Jamie's hair purple.  All good fun, she is a lovely lass!

I'd finally like to wish everyone a great St Georges Day, from all of us in Spain

Changing

I am still changing as a person, here in Spain.  Not only has my personality and outlook changed, but also, I have changed in looks.  I did that purposely.  I wanted to have a new start in every respect and to be honest, there is nothing wrong with changing the way one is from time to time..  So far, so good as they say.  I am happy enough, being who I am!
