With both of us now working and our new house move imminent, we are now lucky enough to be in a unique position, for now at least; we are finally feeling secure, living here, a first for us both. By the beginning of December, we will be independent and  settled, something we haven't been for many years. Life seems to be heading in the right direction; although I'm not counting my chickens yet, judging on previous experience!

Yesterday, Darrell finally started his new job at the airport in Alicante. It was touch and go for a while, whether his status, would prevent him, from taking up the post. The fact he hadn't received his Residencia card, was a stumbling block. However a Spanish solicitor, managed to get the required documentation, just in time, with the provision of a pre contract. Once presented to the social security office, a social security number was issued and the final piece of the jigsaw, clicked into place!
