Nathan Stephens, a friend from back home in Southampton and his mate Ash, have arrived to stay with us for a week in Spain. I say a friend, but  Nathan is a lot more than that; we were very close, during a rather hectic time on the Southampton gay scene, experiencing the ups and downs of gay life. Nathan has moved forward in leaps and bounds it has to be said and I am pleased he is doing so well. He is another one of those gay daughters I picked up on the way through life and it is wonderful to see him, after so many years have passed. Good to have you here!

The most surprising aspect of moving to Spain for me, was the closer bonds I have with people back home; a little strange, granted, living so far away, but  as the saying goes:

'Absence makes the heart grow stronger!'

The people that  matter keep in contact, message regularly and as in the case of Nathan and others, visit often. It really is good to have friends, cherished memories and an ability to make more in Spain, as Darrell and I forge our new life together!
