Football!
England 3 - Scotland 0
Yesterday I went to The Pub, in Masa Square, to watch the football. Now as a rule I don't have anything to do with the game; I can't stand it, but Dawn is Scottish and she wanted me to go and watch it with her, Paul and Nigel, so we all went down, for a few beers and a bit of Nationalism!
I have absolutely no idea about football, or even who's who, but with bright pink strip on, you could spot Scotland a mile off. There was me, cheering at the most inopportune moment, in the wrong colours, sat next to big butch football supporters, on a Friday night. A little bit of Heaven and a little bit of hell rolled into one!
I had a great night at 'The Pub', which finally ended in traditional British style, an indian, from the curry house across the square; I can't wait for the next match. I have tried many new things here in Spain, football being one. Variety is indeed the spice of life and I intend to keep on trying new and wonderful experiences!
