A few days of firsts and lasts!  Darrell started his new job at the airport and said he thoroughly enjoyed it.  It has been a long time coming, but suddenly everything has just fallen in to place.  When you have been through the roughest of times, through no fault of your own, the people responsible have still not been bought to book, yet and you have jumped through hoops, paperwork and legalities for no other reason, than to do someone else's dirty work, it can take you a long time to recover from that.  This was the week Darrell recovered and his life finally moved forwards!

Natalee also started her new job.  She had spent a long time looking for work in Southampton, so for her, getting the job she wanted in Spain was a big bonus. After all the talk of unemployment and difficulties in Spain, each one of us, have proved people wrong.  On top of that we are also living in a Country we love, away from the worst people we have ever met and surrounded by new friends, who are our saving grace. They are the best of people!  It has been a long time coming, but finally we all feel at ease!

Sadly it was the last day in Spain for Zoe as well.  I have enjoyed spending time with her and have had a fabulous time in her company, although my drinking has gone through the roof!  At least we have some wonderful memories and I feel sure you will be back out to Spain as soon as you can!

It has been another memorable few days in Spain, new friends and old and the weather has been bloody gorgeous!

Everyone is working at Casa Caprice and looking forward to a busy and successful summer season.

When you do reach the bottom in life, really pick yourself up and start again. I can guarantee you, it was the best decision we have ever taken in our life. Life is for living, so go and live it!

Jack Yallop

It has also been the first anniversary, since I met Jack.  He was a friend from day one.  Jack is a generous and wonderful person to know.  Natalee video called him  the other night and it was great to talk to him.

So to you Jack, thanks for being a friend, right up until the day we left The UK,  Come and see us soon!
