I had a day off yesterday, so decided to get out of the house and go down to the square. I went to visit Katie and Andy with Darrell first and we drove down to Sierra Mar. To be honest I spent the whole day, just eating and drinking for a change. I don't get to do it that often, so I take the opportunity, whenever I can!
It was nice to see our friend Denise and husband Richard, in the VIP area at Zest, so I spent the afternoon with these two lovely people, who have lived in GA for about eleven years, if I remember correctly. Like most people here, they are a delight to know and very welcoming!
Bacon roll, fish and chips and finally we went to Dream Corner for a curry, which surprisingly was bloody lovely and only cost 31€ for the two of us, for starters, main course and alcohol. A bargain! Katie popped around in the evening for a chat and we wondered over to the pool, where there was a naked man swimming. Although naked people are not allowed in the Urb, pools, this one had got away with it, for the second night on the trot.

It is a squeeze with four of us living here and Natalee has made an impact here, so has the ability to get her own place soon. When you do live in and out of each other's pockets, things can become fractious at times.
Jamie is as easy as ever to live with and both Darrell and I enjoy having him here. At least he seems to finally be happy, having found his own feet. People take to him, very well, especially older members of the community, who do tend to Mother him, which, I know he actually quite likes. He does miss home from time to time, but as we said last night, the longer he is here, the easier it will become!

Today has been relaxing in every respect. I just spent most of it sat on my balcony, catching the afternoon sun. The views from Casa Caprice are truly inspirational at times and I do feel very thankful, to be looking out towards this vista everyday. We were actually thinking of moving next year, to a bigger place, but to be honest, we do like it here a lot and when our other house guest has gone, we will be able to live quite comfortably.
Came across a few photographs, on timehop, taken three years ago at Duncan and Georgi's Wedding. It was nice to see some old faces, I haven't seen in quite a while. Sadly as one gets older, one does sometimes lose touch with people, but it is good to see the photo's from their happy day!
