Cooking!
Dinner
Apart from baking disastrous cakes, washing clothes and general house work, I cooked dinner as usual today. Pork, cut into strips, in a cider, apple and mushroom sauce. It actually tasted great, even if I do say so myself.
I brought all the ingredients from Lidl, for the bargain price of 7€, enough to feed a family of four people. Two extra portions for the freezer and feeling stuffed. You really can cook cheaper in Spain!

Blanching
I blanched off the Broccoliflower also this Sunday. I don't tend to leave things lying around in Spain. Food doesn't last as long over here. I can only assume, they put less preservatives in comestibles, which is no bad thing!
With the Broccoliflower blanched and frozen, I will use it at a later date, when I decide what to do with it.
My top tip: Buy food when it is cheap, preserving it, for use later!
