"I find Christmas quite a peculiar time. Yes it’s full of festive cheer and joy in a lot of ways but it can also be quite a stressful period for a lot of people. The pressure to spend money they might not have, a lot of jobs get more difficult during December and for people who don’t have big families or are not close to them, it can be extremely lonely.
My grandfather passed away on Christmas Day so there is always that on my mind but I do feel that the main thing I take away from Christmas is how it shouldn’t take one day of the year and a lot of expense to enjoy time and a meal with your friends, families and loved ones. It really should happen all year round!"
