New Life!
When you reach middle age, you should be settled and looking forward to the pinnacle of your career, seeing your grandchildren or being able to afford to do all those things, you couldn't in your youth. For us, it didn't quite work out like that. In fact it ended up the complete opposite. Are we disappointed? NO is the answer.
How can you lead the life we have and be disappointed. We are still together, still battling and still very much in love, happy and looking forward to the future, who could ask for more?

So here we are, it's 2016 and myself and Darrell have begun our new life in Europe. It's been a long time coming! Darrell and I wanted to do this over a year ago. When fate played its part, our destiny was sealed.
I don't mind telling you, that I feel a bit like a nomad at the moment, but I am a happy nomad at that! When I look back at mine and Darrell's twenty years together, I feel happy in the knowledge, that we have always lived life to the full. We have experienced many different cultures, countries and people on our travels and oh boy have we traveled. I have lived in Australia twice, spent time with family in Hrvatska every year, bought a home in France, holiday'd in New York, Amalfi, Sorrento, Rome, Venice, Malaysia and Bali and now here we are, living in Europe. Yes a full life, full of hope and destiny, just as it is today. 
Today we are settling into our new life in spain, after a journey, driving from the top to the bottom of Europe, with two cats and a small van full of chattles, all we have left from our old life and all we need to restart. We have no idea where life will take us, absolutely no idea at all, but that is part of the adventure. If you haven't experienced adventure, you haven't breathed. We have and will continue to do so! Times of adversity are character building. They make us the people we are. When you endure bad times, you live life! Blogging about one's life, is a natural healer, so for me I feel well and ready for this new chapter, wherever it leads!
